Elizabeth Taylor was one of the last real star of the golden age of Hollywood. From the moment she first appeared on screen and audiences saw the beautiful violet eyed child that would grow into one of the most beautiful women in history. Through many decades her life was filled with personal and professional achievements, scandalous affairs, and a great amount of dedicated charity work . Elizabeth died in 2011 at the age of 79. This marks the first year that we celebrate Elizabeth Taylor's birthday without her. We need more great people like Elizabeth. RIP Elizabeth, we love you.
